Louise Arnal (founder & lead)

Louise is a scientist with a lifelong love of art. She is a Hydrologist at Ouranos (Montreal, QC). She explores water-related topics using scientific tools on her computer and a diversity of artistic media (from watercolor paintings to multi-sensory immersive installations). Martyn Clark

Martyn is a Professor of Hydrology at the University of Calgary (AB) and an adjunct Professor at the University of Saskatchewan. He is a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union. Martyn’s research focuses in three main areas: (i) developing and evaluating process-based hydrologic models; (ii) understanding the sensitivity of water resources to climate variability and change; and (iii) developing the next generation streamflow forecasting systems.

Stacey Dumanski

Stacey is the outreach coordinator at the Global Institute for Water Security, University of Saskatchewan (SK). She completed her B.Sc. in physical geography with a specialty in water science and M.Sc. in hydrology from the University of Saskatchewan. Her master’s research focused on changes in hydrology in a prairie pothole setting in Smith Creek, Saskatchewan, a research site of the Global Institute for Water Security.

John Pomeroy

John is a Distinguished Professor in the Dept. of Geography & Planning, the Canada Research Chair in Water Resources and Climate Change, the Director of the Global Water Futures Programme, and the Director of the University of Saskatchewan Coldwater Laboratory in Canmore (AB). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, the American Geophysical Union and the Royal Geographical Society.

Corinne Schuster-Wallace

Corinne is the Executive Director of the Global Institute for Water Security and an Associate Professor at the University of Saskatchewan (AB). Her main research areas are coupled systems approaches to local water security and sustainable development, water-related human health, and equity and environmental justice.
